Lovin'it!
a brief programme of what we did during the last 3 days.
of those i can remember of course :)

1st day:
dinner @ the ballroom (Bella Vista)
ship departed & went to take a look at the picturesque view.
took pictures on the deck.

whats more was I FINALLY GOT TO ENTER THE CASINO BABEH!
best thing was my virgin try on casino gambling and with only 2 chips on my hand, it built up to 5 chips. 1 chip consisting of 25 bloody bucks -.-
1 game of Blackjack is alr 50 bucks.

yeah and we got to take home 160 bucks including our start off capital 50bucks.
didnt dare to bet big because it was really stressful.
u can never imagine how stressful it is when your chip is at the table.
If only u were in my shoes, seriously.
ask me and i'll willingly tell u the whole story happily :D

BUT STILL 50 bucks each! mom bro & me split among ourselves, remaining 10bucks was given to lil boy, lester :)

so yea thats the 1st day!

2nd Day

couldn't wake up for breakfast, was too tired.

went for lunch and had spaghetti with chicken. tasted good indeed.

aft tat went to the poolside BBQ party for early dinner. LOVE it to bits.

but before that, me and lil bro went up to the deck again for CAMWHORINGGG :D

so poolside party was fabulous with the band. totally a chill out place to be.

afterwards to catch the sunset and camwhored yet again. totally lovely.

Next up was a concert by the famous hk grp of boyband singers GRASSHOPPER or CAO MENG. whatever u called it. yeap! aint really fantastic so yea. not a CHI-NA fan. :D

oh and i forgot to mention. went to have icecream and had quiet time with lil lester boy at night.

went up to the deck to have our ice cream and sat on the spread out chair(forgot whats it called) do remind me pls.

yeah we both went star gazing. looked at the beautiful vast sky filled with numerous amount of stars & i told him to make a wish. and he did,me too :) it's really beautiful. if only i managed to take a picture.

it was a great sight to see. & how i wished that you were by my side..

3rd Day

woke up had brkfast and nth much aft tat.

Feels good to be home once again! YES!

to begin with, OPERATING THEATRE is so COOL/ AWESOME.

of All my 2 yrs of attachment i had, i guess this is the only attachment that i enjoy the most. Though its only 4days.

seeing all the intestines & stomach out,
skin grafting,
removing of a cyst,
cutting sutures,
learning about the 1001 instruments,
scrubbing gowning gloving,
diathermy burnt smell.
observing the scrub nurse at the same time admiring how well she's able to anticipate the doctor's needs.

i think it's marvelous.

WARD ROUTINE is not my cup of tea. but sadly PRCP in the ward for 3 fucking mths :(

so finally, the long awaited cruise trip. starts TMR!

yessss. i'm sooo gonna indulge myself in FOOOOD!

todays boring. pondering what i should do to make my life more interesting than ever.

a part of me feels like slacking my butt off, yet a part of me feels like going out.

it says 'DURIAN IS THE HEALING KING OF ALL FRUITS'

went to help my aunt in the aftn at her physiotherapy boutique at ngeeann city.

Anybody needs a physiotherapist?come look for my awesome aunt. HAHA, she sure IS a great and experienced physiotherapist i would say! heheee!

afterwards, proceeded to have jap foooood at TONKICHI. yummy.

had sukiyaki. loved it. much better than SUN & MOON @ wheelock place.hmmm

oh well, then went to KINOKUNIYA for some booooks.

LAST day, 20% off storewide for members! i was LUCKY! borrowed the privilege card from my uncle. happily shopped around alone.

And yes, i spent about an hour or so, figuring out which book to buy that i would find it really worth it. SO, all in all i bought this book ' SOUP & STEW ' by Williams- Sonoma

In it, contains some of the BEST soups and stews from around the world.

Ranges from the THE CLASSICS all the way to MAIN COUSE SOUPS and of couse w/o forgetting the HEARTY STEWS! yummm. but yea, i've yet to try it out ! and it's one of the only things that i regularly eat - so this is going to make for some nice new dinners! (:

haha, its pictures are abundant,appetizing and definitely mouth-watering.

i won't ever buy a cook book unless it's overloaded with pictures of what i'm making since that's what i choose my recipes from.

and the best part is that, the whole of kinokuniya, they only brought in 1 book. and thats the book in my hand. i politely asked them for a new piece but there wasnt. the supplier only supplied one book?! ridiculous. what, are they trying to like TEST THE WATER? to see if the book sells? If it doesnt, they aren't gonna supply anymore? c'mon! at least STOCKUP 3 of those laaaaa! tsktsk!

oh well, i'm quite satisfied with it though, except for the coverpage which is slightly crumpled. but oh well, its a good book by all means :)

Pubbing at boat quay ytd night.
a short while and i'm off.

i love the 8days in Beijing because of the scenery they have there which you can never find in Singapore. No doubt the weather there too. It was a great experience and of course, nevertheless i have gained quite a bit of knowledge in china's history and etc. sounds good?haha

this is no joke man,almost died when i climbed halfway up. and my grandpa was damn fit man.
he accompanied me. but i gave up! ahahhaa! the steps was sooo steep and high, my gosh. damn scary!

where all the famous and most recognised chinese physicians are.
learned quite abit from them.
and they're really GOOD man.

a guppy in a small round bottle that i bought in tianjin for 2 bucks.
and when i bought it, i had manymany doubts that the guppy would live for even a day.
so i asked the salesperson who sold this.
pardon me, my chi sucks as u all know :)
me: erm qing wen na ge yu zhen yang hu xi?
in english:erm how does the guppy breathe? (i know through their gills of cus! ) but thats nt wad i meant la.
salesman: li mian you ji ke shi tou jiu hui you kong qi
in english: inside there's stones and jelly like thing,thats where they get the air from.
me: ohh. erm na me shi wu ne?
salesman: dunno wtf was he mumbling.
me: na ge yu nen huo duo jiu?
in english: how long can that guppy live?
salesman: yi nian (1 YEAR)
listen, he said 1 year!
his backside la! his bird rear for him one lor.
the next day it died! tsktsktsk! sad case huh. lols

At night drove all the way to Chengde, approx 4hrs.
the night view was super nice, most of the buildings had many colorful neon lights :)

'RE HE' hot river? the river that never froze even if its in winter where it would be like -10degs.

the tibet look alike temple! forgot wad its called.
smth like bu la la miao i think? LOL ok wadever.

apparently, the emperor in the early days build this temple in Chengde because of some reasons (i forgot the details, most likely is convenience and cus he likes it veh much or somebody asked him to build it. ok one of these reasons if i'm not wrong.) very very similar to the one in tibet but its 3 times smaller. i bet if i told anyone that i went to tibet by showing them these pictures, they would have believed wholeheartedly! HAHA

oh man, i'll have to climb up to the top. trust me, its tiring. but nth compared to the great wall.lols

here i am blogging, bored!

first thing first, i think Beijing's beautiful.
no more 'NO DOOR' toilets!
very well developed.
quite clean.
but! i just hate china ppl. those from rural areas i guess.
they talk as if the whole world belongs to their grandfather or grandma's.
if u would give them a mic, i think the whole mic would just EXPLODE in flames from the LOUD hideous voice they have. ok no offence uh, but the fact is 'SOME' OF THEM TALK SOOO EFFING LOUD!
cant stand em. ANDAND! their mouths smells EXACTLY like the TOILET BOWL!
and still wana talk so loud. and! they walk as if their EYES are at their BUTTOCKS! just bang onto ppl anyhow. and they dont apologise..tsktsktsk!

well, the weather's good! cold and chilly BUT very DRY, need to drink lotsa water.unlike singapore. i bet if u put a live pig directly in the sun at 1pm in the afternoon, after an hr u'll see black thick smoke coming out of it. HAHA just kidding, im EXAGGERATING! but ya, sg's really hot!i dont mind walking for hrs and hrs, its similar to air con though! :)

1st day- went to Tian'an men, forbidden city,Temple of heaven.
2nd day-some very beautiful garden and etcetc.
3rd day- Great wall of china and etcetc.
4th day-happy valley (HUGE AMUSEMENT PARK), Wangfujing(smth like sg's orchard road)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAR SI HUI & ALICE!
my dears are once again a year older!
we've been through almost 2 long years together.
i can say that it's because of you all that made my whole 2 years in poly life a real fruitful and enjoyable one.
although we had small little arguments or disagreements but still we made up and become united again.
the bond we have seems to be unbreakable and incredible.

i hope in the coming years or months, we will still stand strong as we have always been.

went vivo with charm, brandon, clauds, jam, sihui & alice!
for our long awaited movie - my Bloody Valentine 3D

it was good i would say, leaving us in suspense who the actual killer was.
the 3D effects were not bad too although i expected much more :D

and so i just arrived in time for the usual crazy things that we did.

and then as usual went to mac @ tamp with charm for a long chatting session.
we got so engrossed in it that we forgot about the time and went on & on & on.
we made plans, goals and etcetc.

Day 1 @ Genting

went to mac for breakfast.
then walked around to explore.

first world hotel for the first night.
and lemme tell you, it sucked.

CABLE CAR RIDE
it's a 3.4 km ride. longest cable car ride in the whole of southeast asia.
enjoyed the scenery of the green tropical forest.

& then its ARCADE TIME!!
really fun.
we had a Max. of 1500 tickets in total.
spent about SGD$55.my gosh.

2nd Stop: was the Long-awaited Themepark!

we stayed at the Hotel Themepark which was just beside the themepark, very convenient.
this ride is called the spinner.
sat on this ride for a lil warm up.
felt really giddy as it went round and round but the wind was unbearable.
lucky thing, i was smart. heh i wore 2 jackets!
the 2 boys wanted to ACT HERO,didnt want to bring their jackets. den after the ride, they were freezing their ass-es off. HAHA

This is called the SPACE-SHOT.
but we called it BUNGEE, cus it was similar to that.
First Time in my LIFE, i Plucked up the courage to go on this ride!
i had second , third, fourth thoughts about it but i still went.

13th MAR
it was my last day of attachment! rushed home to rest!
at night went for a movie, COMING SOON.
Then, met my dear Charmaine for a long chat at mac.
we haven't seen each other for ages, that was the result of being able to chat till the cows came home! muahaha. I just LOVE her :D
i was invited to charmaine's concert on sunday night as she was the guest singer on that night!
of course without hesitation, i agreed! i enjoy seeing her sing, seriously :) you'll know ltr.

14th MAR
Volleyball @ Sentosa
i was apparently starving when i reached vivio.
as a result, i bought a packet of fried rice, damn happy.
played volleyball, so apparently i learned how to 'set the ball' with a bloody Wrong technique which results in me having blue black on my wrist now. Muscle aching like hell cus i havent been exercising for god-knows- how many donkey years! -.-
next, went to Fish & Co. @ dhoby ghaut for dinner!

attended the Piano concert!
Klavierensemble presents PASSIONATO
met swee & eric. tgt we went for the concert.
saw charm's mum! whole family is damn funny, seriously. damn cute.
made a new friend called pang ngee ytd,played volleyball tgt, and so coincidental he went to the concert too! he's from NP too, and his friend was the former vice-president of the klavierensemble and charmaine's couzie, clarabel is the present president of klevierensemble. so yeah kinda coincidental :)
he had ever seen charm sing, SHE IS GOOD,SO IMPRESSIVE! :D
the thing i regretted not doing was to record all 3 songs that she sang.

oh man, this is a very touching TRUE story..
It's bittersweet story about the relationship between a dog and his master.
Hachiko really existed.
He waited 10 years after his master's death every night at the train station.
He waited until he died.
Hachiko's statue is in shibuya and his stuffed remains are in a Museum at Tokyo University.
He is the Greyfrair's Bobby of Japan.

In 1924, Hachikō was brought to Tokyo by his owner, Hidesaburō Ueno, a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo. During his owner's life Hachikō saw him off from the front door and greeted him at the end of the day at the nearby Shibuya Station. The pair continued their daily routine until May 1925, when Professor Ueno didn't return on the usual train one evening. The professor had suffered a stroke at the university that day. He died and never returned to the train station where his friend was waiting.

Hachikō was given away after his master's death, but he routinely escaped, showing up again and again at his old home. After time, Hachikō apparently realized that Professor Ueno no longer lived at the house. So he went to look for his master at the train station where he had accompanied him so many times before. Each day, Hachikō waited for Professor Ueno to return. And each day he didn't see his friend among the commuters at the station.

The permanent fixture at the train station that was Hachikō attracted the attention of other commuters. im like a total stranger to blogging right now.

ok first and foremost, i would like to start with my life over the past few wks i guess?

many things have happened and passed. however, i've learnt quite alot from it.
i thought i had it all , but i was wrong.
so the best solution is to let nature take its course and do not be so stressed up from thinking about that whole big issue.
put it down and let it go, but don't let it wander too far or else it would never come back again.
yup, it may sound abit confusing but just try to apply it when u're facing some difficulties and it will come to use :D

Valentine's day was superb!

i seriously enjoyed myself alot.
i could say, one of the best valentines day i've ever had prolly because most of my past valentine's day were dull & boring.

haha yeah. went to The Canopy @Asmara's (Bishan Park) for dinner.

Garden Dining
its a total different concept compared to casual dining or fine dining in some enclosed restaurants..
its really super cool and a nice chill out place for couples, family & friends.
he planned it all nicely not missing out a single thing.
when the sky started to get dark, its really beautiful and the atmosphere started to kick up.
a pity i didnt take much pictures and pictures of us both.
cus someone didnt like to be captured! hahaha yeah so that explains why.
its a real waste i didnt took my main course, tenderloin steak!
wahaha, i guess i was just too excited to get the food into my mouth or too busy crapping with him till even the cows come home, i'm oblivious to it. =X

it was a night so fun and crazy!

was supposed to be studying for research method exam.
'WAS SUPPOSED to be' but ended up taking pictures! LOL :D

stupid test, don't know how the hell they calculated.
i'll explain, just listen.

its a 50mins test on RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
section A consists of 30 mcqs (more on application)
section B consists of 10 mcqs (true/false qns)

i happily did the test, i thought it was alright & i managed to finish all the questions in 15mins. Checked once through (only section A cus i Thought section B was quite okay).
Finally, plucked up my courage and Clicked on 'END ASSESSMENT'!!

THEN... the best part is this...

i stared in astonishment. i was like wtf?!

i dont mind having my USUALS everyday but it has to contain VEGETABLES, less salt and not too oily. and RICE- brown rice! i certainly need carbohydrates to fill my stomach, or else its the same as not eating anything.
they rock. i dont know why some people dislike brown rice but i just LOVE it.
maybe because its more CHEWY and fragrant compared to white rice.
hahaha.
i like to chew on ICE too! its gives me the 'shiok' kind of feeling.. when those crushed ices are in my mouth.. :D

so this is what i tell people.
